The Short Version

Cider runs AI models entirely on your Mac. Your code, prompts, API calls, and data never leave your machine. We have zero access to your inference activity.

What We Collect

If you sign up for our waitlist, we collect:

Your email address
Signup timestamp

This is stored securely in AWS and used solely to notify you when Cider launches.

What We Do Not Collect

Your code, prompts, or API requests
Model inference data
Usage analytics or telemetry from the CLI/API
File system access data

Local API & CLI

Cider's REST API (/v1/chat/completions) and CLI tools operate entirely on localhost. No external requests are made during inference.

Third-Party Services

The Cider application makes zero outbound network requests during normal operation. The website uses AWS for hosting and waitlist storage.
